The Inspire Rotherham team

Deborah Bullivant

Deborah has worked within Further Education, Private and Voluntary sectors. This gives her the knowledge, experience and understanding in literacy development and widening participation across education. Deborah’s role is to steer the project forward ensuring the key aims and objectives for Inspire Rotherham are met, connecting services, evaluating the impact of literacy approaches and informing the development of a new literacy model for Rotherham to create a literacy centre of excellence.

Helen Ramsay

Helen has worked for the Rotherham Council for the past three years on the Training Pays Project. She brings experience of project management from working with hardest to help people within the voluntary sector. Helen’s role is to ensure effective partnership working and performance management within the aims and objectives of Inspire Rotherham.

 

Nicola Jeavons

Nicola has worked for Rotherham Council for the past seven years within the Children and Young People’s Services; she has worked predominantly within 14 – 19 and lately for the External Funding team. Nicola brings a wealth of knowledge of RMBC, events management and communications to the team.

 

SPARK

It is Spark’s mission to promote literacy across Rotherham, encouraging children and their families to develop a ‘can do’ approach to reading, writing, communicating, speaking, listening and performing. Spark will also encourage children and families to take part in various activities on offer through Inspire Rotherham at school, in communities, in libraries and in the home.

Emily Beevers

Emily is a recent graduate in Media Studies and has been working at Hallam FM on the promotions team. She brings experience of working on marketing campaigns and communication projects within communities and schools.

 

Stephen Green

Stephen is a recent graduate in Music. He is the drummer in a band and can also play the guitar and piano. Stephen also taught English as an additional language to students from across Europe.
