A radio project ran by Red Road is inspiring young people to develop their literacy skills.

Last year, Rotherham crowned 3 children from Rockingham J&I School as Rotherham’s first ever Poet Laureates. This year the award is coming back!

For the past eighteen months, working in partnership with Inspire Rotherham, the Titans Community Foundation has developed and enhanced its well renowned reading programme.

A mysterious Project X leader came and “interrupted” an assembly at Roughwood Primary School recently to deliver cryptic messages to each class about the project.

This Easter holiday gave several families in Rotherham the chance to take part in an exciting crime based workshop.  The CSI style activity gave families the opportunity to act as detectives to solve the mystery of the missing dog.

The 12th and 13th September 2009 saw the 30th anniversary of the Rotherham Show in its new location at Rosehill Victoria Park in Rawmarsh. A great weekend of entertainment was promised and it didn’t disappoint as thousands came through the gates over the two days to enjoy the many exhibits and shows on offer.
