Rotherham Children’s Book Awards

2010 marks the tenth anniversary of the Rotherham Children’s Book Award. With over 50 Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 schools and departments participating, in addition to the inclusion of work inspired by the Imagination Library for babies and pre-school children. This was a wonderful opportunity for school staff, children and parents to join together in a celebration of the wealth of new children’s literature. More authors than ever before have promised to come and share their love of writing, as well as signing copies of their books, so we are very excited to offer an invitation to all interested parties. We are also working in partnership with Inspire Rotherham to launch their Poet Laureate Award. This competition is an exciting opportunity to become Rotherham’s first ever Poet Laureate. The winner will be announced at the Rotherham Book.
